Umirov Islombek Furkatovich is a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics and an Associate Professor. Since 2025, he has been working as an associate professor at the Department of Economics and Engineering Sciences of the Samarkand Campus of the Economic and Pedagogical University.

In 2025, he successfully defended his PhD dissertation in Economics entitled: “Improving the Organizational and Economic Mechanism of Service Delivery in the Healthcare System.”

To date, Islombek Umirov has authored 2 teaching manuals, 1 monograph, and has published more than 30 research articles in journals indexed in reputable international databases as well as in national academic publications.
